Just some updates, Maddie loves her bouncy chair and the Golds gym swing. She does ok in her own swing but the one at Golds gym is quite snazy & it's got a rotating mobile that she loves to stare at. It's so funny at the end of the night to go into the nursery and see 3 babies swinging in unison. I'll trying to get a picture of it sometime.
Our latest story to tell happened the other day. I woke up at 4:30 as usual and her Maddie softly crying. I walked into the dark bathroom (yes she was still sleeping in her carseat in her bathroom) and decided I had to use the restroom so I started in that direction stepping on her blanket (not unusual she likes to kick off her blankets) and then there was a strange moan. I stopped in my tracks and looked down. In the dark I realized she was laying on the bathroom floor! Somehow she wiggled out of the carseat, and landed perpendicular to the carseat. I freaked, I had almost stepped on her and I didn't know how long she had been laying there. That morning I checked her for bruises, she was good. But needless to say she has slept in her crib since. And she's been so good in her crib, why hadn't I thought this would work before. I just elevate her in the boppy.
She's been such a chatter box lately and she's learned how to growl. Its so funny and now she screams randomly. That's a little embarassing when all the little old ladies in your ward want to hold her and she screams at them. Oh well.
Besides that we're all mostly well Jon had a cold and Maddie has had a runny nose all day. But I guess it could be worse, her second round of shots are coming up. Jon was playing football for a semi pro team, however last weekend his best friend popped his ankle out of place and tore some tendons. Jon had to drive him to the ER, and they told him he'd have to have surgery. That night we decided maybe it'd be better if he played when we had insurance and things were a little steadier financialy.
