So I decided since everyone else was doing it, that I'd have to join in. We thought it'd be fun to try to update people on what's going on in our lives. So I (Julee) am currently working for a tanning salon but got a job at Golden West Credit Union. Its just a couple streets away and I start on Feb 4th for training as a teller. I am excited. I've been surprised to see what a little sales lady I am. I've sold 7 VIP passes at the tanning salon in just three days by myself. All I say is this is our best deal however we'll be drafting 25 bucks a month from your bank account and you can tan as much as you want. You wouldn't believe all the variety of people that come in. Old men, young men, old women, and lots of women.
I've been counting the days that I've felt good lately seems I've always got something bothering me. If its not the back its the neck, if its not my stomach and naseau its my poor hands getting cut by cans, paper, cardboard, or getting pieces of wood shoved underneath a nail. However, Jon's been good to me trying to make soup and being at my beckon call.
My Chevy Malibu has been running well and getting decent gas milage. Jon's new little Kia Sportage has been fun but tiresome. Literally... we had to replace all the tires, but we were able to barter some off of Jon's little friend Tanner Jones who wrecked his Ford Ranger. However one of the tires was bad so we only got away with three Kingstar tires and found out later after LeSchawb put them on that one of them had some type of puncture hole. So we had to buy some fix a flat from Walmart and are praying that it will work for now. Jon was also able to sell his car to a man mechanically inclined over KSL a local channel & classified ad publisher online. I've also listed my last year studded tires and hope I can sell them to someone as well.
I've been busy trying to convince people to hire me. Working hard to get our puppy into the bathroom when I leave for work in the morning, once he hears me pouring food and throwing toys in there he runs for cover. Even though he has such a fun personality and keeps me company, I'm sick of finding holes in shoes, socks, icy hot, and my chairs. But as soon as we get a pup out of him I'll be satisfied and then think about selling him. Even though Jon feels he's one of the family now.
Jon is enjoying work and finding himself to be a more valuable employee as we learned he had recieved a raise back in November. We recently had a work party in Brigham City at the famous Maddox restaurant. They had slabs of cow called "steaks" that I'd never seen before. Jon not holding back ordered the BISON filet mignon and I ordered the chicken. But it was very good and fun to see the people of whom I have heard numerous stories. He's been very out doorsy lately ordering Cabela's cateloges and wants to put in for a deer tag this coming season in Utah. I told him once he actually get something he can have better equipment. Thats about everything for now. Until next time....
