The day Maddie conquered the stairs, while Dad was behind to assist.
This was also the day that Maddie decided to climb up half way while Jon and I were both occupied both thinking the other was watching Maddie. I was sitting in the office and I heard something fall. I turned around in my chair trying to figure out what it was when I realized it was her. I screamed (the most frightening scream I've ever produced) as I watched Maddie cartwheel down the last 4 steps, just like a rag doll being thrown down stairs. Jon heard the scream outside and came running in. She has a few bumps and bruises but thankfully no breaks. These stairs are SO hard and steep. I walked into my apartment and I saw my big clock had fallen to the ground. She must have nailed the wall half way down. Poor baby, she must be doing ok because she tried to climb up there again today looking for her best bud Liz.

I'm glad she's OK and like I said before, don't feel bad. She's not the first or last kid to fall down the stairs. It is scary though when it happens.

I always blog comments and facebook stuff with Ashley I think I caught myslef most of the time hopefully I've never left one on. I would love for you to come visit. This week probably isn't the best since I have a fever and I am going out of town on Friday. Next week my slow days are tues, thurs, fri, sat, however next tues Joe's brother from Georgia will be here and my dad is flying in for the game. so maybe on the weekend you can come see us with my dad? let me know
I am glad she is ok. But don't worry, it happens. All of my kids have fallen down the stairs. It's good to teach them early so they know how to do it. As soon as my babies crawl I start teaching them. (they don't usually crawl until 10 months anyway). It is still scary when they do. My nephew was 3 and his mom would still walk him down their stairs!
